I ahd to be on the go to m ake sure all the items needed for the reno had been ordered. Then I had the grandkids all day. Loved that part. I live just outside Halifax in Sackville. I grew up in Halifax and always planned to move back but now we are retied and settled here with dr's etc so I guess we will stay LOL. How about you?
Another Michigan , Adi and Heather! Yes, there are loads of quilters here and just as many chatters (our second favorite hobby). Come join us in a block or fabric swap ... We have a fun November Happy Block in pretty fall colors plus other fabric swaps and a BOM!
Hi Heather, I live in New Glasgow area, this will be my retirement home in about 10 years or less. Hey Holly; That is unbelievable. I have a cottage in Little Harbour(Chance). I have had it for about 15 yearsw. I am hust in the process of selling ti to my brother as he also has one there next door to mine and thius will give him more room. I am still going to be able to use it for 2 weeks each year. Do you ever go to Lucy's on Abercrombie Rd. Are you in one of the guilds up there. Small ,Small world. LOL. I am having my right knee scoped. I had left done in June. I am having a replacement in June/09 as we go to Florida for the winter. Hoping this will tide me over as far as the pain goes until I return. Heather
Hi Heather it is a samll world. Chance Harbor is a beautiful community, nice views. I go to Lucys quite often, that is where I purchased my fabric for the sweet 16 swap that is going on here on BC. I don't belong to any of the guilds here, too busy with work and family (too many irons in the fire) but I always attend their quilt shows. Good just with your knee surgery, take it easy. Time for bed for me. Take care Holly
