Hey there. I am new here. I really like boards and am so glad to have found a quilting one that is active.
I am 34 and live in NC near Charlotte. I am married and have 2 boys. I love quilting and have been doing it for 7 years now and plan to never quit. I am also a peculiar quilter!! You are absolutely right. I use to live 20 minutes above them and would go ALL the time. I really wish I could make it there more.

If you go All the time to those shops, the only way you could go more would be to move in! LOL Now there is an idea worth considering! LOL My LQS moved, now they are twice as far away, but the upside is that the store is now about four times as big- plenty of room for me, a sewing machine, and a cot!
