Hi, My name is Suellen. I live in Southern Utah. I moved here from Los Angeles about 4 years ago. I live on 20 acres with my husband, 25 hens, 2 roosters, 3 dogs, 2 pregnant goats, a goat with a 7 week old boy and more wild jackrabbits than we would care for. I have been quilting and sewing for almost 35 years (now I feel old). I belong to a crochet forum, goat forum, belly dance forum and another quilt forum. I have a lot of fun on the forums I belong to. I live in a very small town. There are 3 places to buy fabric a $$$$ quilt shop, Ace hardware store and Wal-mart. These are over 30 minutes away. The quilt forums are like belonging to a quilt guild without having to transport my sewing machine. I’m looking forward to getting to know the people on the forum. Cool

Suellen!

Sounds like you have your hands full. How do you find the time to quilt? Must be all that experience. Smile

I think I would opt for the Walmart for the basics ... unless, of course, the Ace Hardware has good stuff Confused ... and the let my fingers do the shopping on the computer for the online bargains and free shipping offers. Big Grin

Nice to have you join us ...

Ace hardware is a bit more expensive than Walmart but the fabric is better quality and they have a larger selection. go figure Suellen

Hellow Suellen. I moved to rual Kansas (Pop:900) a little over a year ago fron Denver, Colorado. So I feel for you when you talk about buying fabric. Wal-mart 30 minutes to the north or 45 minutes to the south.

Curiosity do all Ace stores sell fabric. Cause the ones in Denver never sold fabric....I do alot alot alot... Popcorn of shopping online.

Hope your quilting time is fruitful and Blessed Be.
