Hi, I'm from Charlotte. I am 26(in a few day I'll be 27) married and a mother. My son is 3 years old and my husband is 24, but acts like he is 3 at times. Roll Eyes I have been quilting since I was seven with my grandmother. After she passed I do it by myself. I just thought that I would like some quilting company, so here I am.

Traci Lou,
Just wanted to send you a warm Welcome from sunny California. Hope you enjoy BC forum as much as I do.
You live in a beautiful city. My husband & I visited it once when were out to NC to visit my brother. He lives in Monroe. The houses in your city were wonderful. We saw a row of victorians I can't remember what they were called, painted ladies? Victorian Ladies? hum I can't remember maybe you could refresh my memory. Wish we could have stayed longer. Guess I'll have to go back Smile

Have fun here.

HI, Welcome from Rainy England! I'm a former NC girl living in South Yorkshire now. Girl, you are quilting country! I load up on fabric everytime I go home to visit my kids. One daughter lives in Salisbury, the other moved to Va. BC is a great place to make new friends, learn new stuff and have a laugh or two. Get involved in swaps or exchanges to really meet friends.
Cheers,
KimUk

Thank you for the warm welcome. Like some of you that have started a quilt, I get the top done and put it to the side and start another. But I have to admit the my husband told me that I can't by anymore fabric or yarn( I'm a knitter 2) till I finish the twenty some quilts that I have started. I will absolutly jump in when I have anything to ad to the conversation.

see you all around the block. He He He.

If you got in your car and drove west you would bump into me in about 5 hours, I live in the western most town in NC..... I have the same story my g'ma taught me how to quilt at age 5ish. Been doing it ever since, now 35. I also have too much fabric to deal with.

What project are you workin on.

where are you. I go out to Robinsville about twice a year. Is that close?

I'm working on a double white and pastel rainbow quilt.
