Hi, I'm a newbie from the green mountain state. Anyone else from New England? My husband and I produce fragrant Vermont balsam, which keeps us buzy. Check out my site to read all about it and see what else I do... Sue

Welcome to the forum from Michigan. I am so jealous! I love the smell of pine, cedar, balsa, all of it reminds me of Up North!
Yes, there are several ladies from New England. They should be along shortly. We have lots of quilt exchanges and swaps, etc. Get nosey and check out the site.
I'm from the other side of the country - in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas (northern California)...
I look forward to getting to know you on the boards!

Hi Sue, welcome to the forum. I checked out your website, cool stuff. Did you sew the wall hanging you have for sell? They are really nice. Hope to see more of your work.

Thank you girls... I'll try to be active with my posting.. In the middle of yet another snow storm. This winter has been very tedious in our neck of the woods! And this is the first day of Spring... you never would know it in VT.. Sue

Two years ago we were living in VT while my husband had a job contract there and I was able to visit a couple of quilt shops. I also saw the Jane Stickle quilt in the Bennington Museum and attended the Bennington Quilt Show.
I have a few more VT Quilt shops on my list that I hope to visit someday, Pat

Hey Pat, Where did you live in VT? Did you get to Stowe to the quilt shop there? I worked there part time for a while.. she sold our balsam for years. Come up again! Sue
