Hi, Deb, Glad you decided to come out of the closet ... looks like you have been very busy in there making lots of quilts ... must be a big closet to fit your quilt frame in there, too ... I have a few of the projects you mentioned in the works in my own little closet here ... except the Posies and Pinwheels one ... that one is still on my "dream list" ... but I have been getting the block instructions every month. I have a pretty big binder full of dreams ... so many quilts to make ... so little time! Looking forward to getting to know you better, Pat "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."... from "The Paradox of Our Age" by Dr. Bob Moorehead

Welcome, Welcome from a former Ann Arbor gal. I still have one son there but am living in NC during the school year and the UP in the summer. I'll be passing through your way in about a week. It sounds like you have lots of things going on.... like most of us on BC. Always happy to have another person to share ideas and dreams with. Jean D

Welcome. It's easy to fit in here so jump in where you feel like you want to. What kind of quilting do you do? Hand? Machine? Janice

Welcome from NE Indiana! I'm not too far from you - just across the state line about 7 miles into Indiana - 18 miles straight south of Ft. Wayne. You sound a lot like me - I too love the 30's repros (and even have a few small pieces of original 30's fabric! And I mostly machine piece, but hand quilt most of my quilts. Occasionally I send one out to be machine quilted - especially if it's a utility quilt - one that will be used a lot - but the special ones always get hand quilted. Wish I had a sewing room like yours! I'm slowly moving most of my sewing gear next door to a family-owned house where my DD used to live (it was originally my grandparents' home). Over there I can spread out my work and only have to pick it up if we have a party or get-together over there. You'll fit in just perfect here - glad you decided to quit hiding in the closet!! Nola
