Hi,

My name is Sarah, Im 26 years old and live with my husband and 2yr old son in England.

I have been crafting for quite a while starting with cross stitch, then card making, then started scrapbooking aswell and now have just bought a sewing machine to start quilting.

I am a complete beginner using a sewing machine and quilting so this should be quite an experience!

I am hoping that I will find lots of great help and advice and am looking forward to chatting with other members.

Thanks Sarah

Welcome Sarah:

I also tried many craft before settling into quilting. I have been doing it for 15 years and just love it. I use both the machine, for piecing, and hand work for applique and the quilting process.

Hi Sarah, Sorry I haven't been on to welcome you sooner. I've been sick and staying away from all machinery (health and safety!!!).

I live in Doncaster and have been quilting for about two years though it seems like longer. BC is a fine bunch of folks and you will learn a lot from them. Tuck in and enjoy the nourisment as they feed your quilting soul.

Do you have a local quilt fabric shop? I know there are more your direction than mine, but that's not saying much. If you can take a class at one it certainly will boost your experience and expertise quickly.

Keep us posted with your journey through pictures (we love 'em) and we will help you as much as we can. Also, we laugh a lot.

Welcome,
KimUK
