Hi there everyone.
I live in the UK (a Yorkshire lass !) and I am completely new to quilting. I have just bought loads of material and looking forward to reading your posts to get some inspiration, ideas and help. After a quick look at a few posts, I have a lot of reading to do, so I am off to get a gin and tonic and some chocolate before I have a proper look. Bye for now - back soon.  |

I'm new to quilting too, and everyone on this site has been great when I've had questions. I'd also suggest taking some classes if the opportunity arises. I'm taking a class and I've got a fabulous teacher and have met wonderful new friends. DH would love you since gin & tonic is his favorite. Me, I'll have a nice glass of red wine with that chocolate. Did someone tell me there's a diet with red wine and chocolate? I need to learn about that - I think I could be successful at that! Lizzie |

You should fit in nicely here, I always have a gin and tonic before I quilt....hmmmm, think that has anything to do with my seams not being straight????
