Hello, I am Misty. I am from Virginia. And I have been hooked on quilting for a few years now. But I do not know as much as I would like to about quilting so I keep reading and watching every thing I can get my hands and eyes on to learn. I will be asking for help a lot. I hope you don't mind. If there is any thing you wish to know that I have not stated here just let me know.
Misty, welcome again. I think you find there are many who have advice to share, not always about quilting, either! LOL Just jump in, we will help when we can!
Hi Misty! Sounds like you are ready to be a sponge and soak up all the info you can! That's what I did when I first looked into quilting. This is a great place for that, lots of ladies full of knowledge. Glad to have you and hope to see more of you!
I have only been quilting all the time for about three years now ... I went back to it after my children started leaving the nest. I call myself an "experienced beginner" because the more I learn the more I find there is to learn. I do mostly machine sewing and quilting. I just started taking my first ever quilt class to learn hand stitching and quilting.
BC is a great place to meet other quilters and share ideas. I feel I have made many friends here.
Happy to have you join us,
Pat

I've just joined Block Central as well. I'm really impressed with it. Though I've been quilting for 20 years or more I'm something of a novice. Like Pat my quilting is only increasing as my children leave home.
Misty, a big Alberta welcome to you!! Sorry I'm late, but we just moved and I don't get on hubby's computer much (mine is still in a box! ) Questions? Fire away! Advice to give? Feel free!
this is a great bunch of ladies, and someone will always be able to help, commiserate, console, cheer
