I just signed up still finding my way around. I have been quilting for a while but there are no groups where I live so I depend on the internet for that. I live in Quebec City.

Hi, Dawn, and welcome from Spruce Grove, Alberta!!! You found a wonderful place here - lots of help, hugs, laughter, requests for pictures, and all around fun! You say there are no quilting groups there - what a bummer!! do you at least have a quilt shop or two? Maybe you could post a note there asking if there is anyone interested in getting together now and then. But - there is always US!! We are a worldwide group - ladies from the US and Canada, of course, and Australia, South Africa, England, Germany - we've had ladies join from Holland, Wales, Spain - just a super bunch!!

Just remember, the only dumb question is the one not asked!

Quebec City, eh? Does that mean you a Canadien's fan? Hmmm,...... well, so far you have met and been welcomed by two of a half-dozen or so Red Wings fans in Michigan! Three if we count Gerda (she may be in Alberta but we claim her as another Michigander! Except, of course, when she sends those bitter Alberta Clippers down here!) LOL

This is the best quilting guild on the block! We are open 24/7 for questions, problems (don't even have to be about quilting), hugs and advice are offered freely when needed. We share just about everything- laughter, tears, prayers, fabric and recipes. So jump right in- glad you are here!

I am so bummed. The 50 mph winds have apparently knocked channel 9 out of Windsor off the air. Now we can't watch curling this afternoon. Somebody let us know how it ends please?
