Hi, I am Bev. I am from South Central Kansas about 20 miles from Wichita. I am a manager of an auto parts store by day and a bookkeeper by night. I quilt when I have time and the energy. I have a gazillion projects started and I am getting them finished one by one. Hope I live long enough to get all this done. Quilting is so relaxing. My mother was a hand quilter. She would not have dreamed of using a sewing machine to piece the quilt or to quilt it. I don't have her patience. Every time I put one of her quilts on our bed, it reminds me of how much work she put into it. And all the love.

Glad you got your fabric coming. Always nice to get a package of nice new fabric in the mail.

If you want to add to your projects list (mine has a few gazillion, too) there are some fun block swaps going on. Check them out and when you are ready, jump right in. I am glad I did.

I have had such fun on BC and learned so much and made many friends ... I know you will, too.

I am mostly a machine quilter, although I have started taking a hand-stitching class. I find the hand-stitching very relaxing ... I am very slow, though ... so I am only doing one long project this way .. to be finished some time next year.
