My mom pasted away several yrs. ago and I found that quote in her bible and I have now taken it for my quote its a way to feel her presents. I also have several quilt tops of hers that need to be quilted, so I'm going to try and do them.

(Billswife) You were close to me when you were in Van Buren.

I'm in Lavaca 15 miles from Van Buren. And a quilters retreat close to us would be great. I have been reading about the retreat and the cruise thats in the works. I'm sure glad I found this place its great to talk about and ask questions and get qnswers back. I love pictures too. But at this time don't know how to get them on. But that is something I will be working on this year. We do have a camera
just haven't figureded out how to do all the uploading and things yet. May be an old dog but will try to learn new tricks.

Welcome from an Oma in central Alberta, Canada, nana!! My mom was Nana to my two kids, and Oma to the rest of her grands. She was nana to mine because their other grandmother was Oma (lived in the Netherlands). It made it easier for the kids to know who we were talking about. My grands had a grandmother (she passed away a few months ago,) and I was Oma. My kids are 32 and 29, grandgirls are 6 1/2 and 5.

You'll have so much fun here, you'll wonder how you'll ever get any sewing done! Right, girls???

HOpe to see lots of your posts! Smile

And yes, Dorene, that is WAY cool!! YOu're not the only Nana anymore - you have company!! Smile
