Hi everyone. My name is Patti and I live in central Canada. I have two grownup daughters and a school teacher hubby. I've been sewing all my life, but fairly new to quilting. Most of my projects have been small totes or handbags using foundation piecing, although I have done one full bed comforter, not block pieced, just solid colour lengths quilt stitched together. After sewing kids clothes for 20 odd years, I have a ton of scraps that I want to put to good use. I'm looking forward to reading here for any tips I can find and getting the terminology right so I know what you all are talking about.
Most of my computer time is early morning as the girls still live at home and take over the computer after work in the evening.

Welcome from Michigan. Anytime you're not sure of a word or a technique, just ask. Lots of talented ladies, who are happy to share their knowlegde and their love of quilting.
Welcome from Oklahoma! You will meet Gerda soon and if you are lucky, you two will live close enough to visit each other. She is a wealth of information!
