NiHao! I'm Darla from AZ...AKA "CrafteeD". I've been quilting on & off for 15 yrs, but just recently picked it back up in Jan when the fabric bug hit me again. It all started when I began swapping fabric & wishes for my "100 Wishes Quilt" that I'm making for my soon-to-be-daughter from China. I think they infuse fabric with addicting pheremones in it that affect those that are prone to the addiction. It's a conspiracy!!!
 Anyhow...I've completed 3 personal quilts (& 1 for Mexico Missions + 2 quilt tops for others to finish) this year. 3 more are in various stages of completion which I hope to have done by this fall. I'm known for my laundry list of UFOs & WIPs. I'm self diagnosed with ADCD (Attention Deficit Crafting Disorder) with a quilt tub full of UFO's to prove it. So...having completed 3+ quilts this year (one was an 8yr old UFO---YAY!!!) was quite an accomplishment. I've uploaded pix of my projects in my CrafteeD album.No telling how often you will see me on the forum as I've got lots to do before we leave...including getting a job.  |

Darla, welcome to the forum. I worked in Special Ed for years, ADCD is a new one on me, but one that afflicts many of us. Hmmm..., I wonder can a body get a hanicap sticker for that in order to park closer to the fabric store?!?!? LOL And all these years I thought it was a havy metal band. hehehehehe Oh wait, that's ACDC.

a warm dixie welcome to BC, darla! took a peek at your album and WOW!!!! you have been busy making some bee-u-ti-ful quilts!! i think you'll fit right in here with this wonderful, crazy bunch! i think there's another lady here at BC who's adopting a child from china, but i'm afraid i can't remember who it is
