Dorian Welcome again from sweet home Alabama I posted also on the Good morning site a welcome for you. That gives me an idea about a recipe site like having it split into heart healthy and then just down right no good for you recipes...like the sweets and whatever else would fit here.

Hello Dorian from Central California, Stockton to be exact. We have Sewcaorlyn from Southern Cal. and now you from Northern. And here I sit in the middle. Where are you exactly? A few hours north of Sac could be anywhere. I' haven't been on here much lately. I've been busy doing other things and I'm thinking of starting a little home business that will keep me off here more. I hope it will keep me busy but I have plenty of other things I need to catch up on so may not be on here much for awhile.

Thank you for the warm welcome! Ferrell, I am in the country 1/2 hour West of Red Bluff, between Chico and Redding. The big City to me is Chico, I am not a city gal, so the bigger it is the more I dislike it you don't find us down in Sacramento often, unless it's to go to the Train museum. Both my boys are trainheads. I will try to get into a swap or two. But right now, with money being soooo tight, I may wait a bit. I enjoy looking at all your work though! Have a great day, Dorian

Dorian We have several swaps still open just in case you change your mind that are easy enough for a beginner quilter. #1 Mona is hosting a Christmas Ornament Swap we still need a couple more swappers. In this one we make 6 alike ornaments of choice that must include some type of fabric somewhere in it and is under 6" {I think} we will send 5 of them to Mona to swap and send back to us and then the 6th one is ours for ourselves. And then #2 Linda O is hosting a couple of "stripper" swaps no sewing required on thse two, one is a 3" regular fabric swap cut widthwise and one is a 3" Christmas fabric strip. They have it figured so that we cut 13 strips from one yard of fabric then it is sent to Linda and she swaps and sends back to us. There might be other swaps I not sure that are still open but we would love to have you just right in and enjoy these swaps and Christmas with us this year. Don't be shy the water is warm and very comfortable, hehe.
