I have the top pretty much made but am sort of lost on what to do next. I do not know if I need a machine other than a standard sewing machine I have. I notice alot of adds for quilting machines online although they are very expensive. I don't think you need to buy an expensive sewing machine. Machine quilting is the quickest way to get a quilt done. If you can drop your feed dogs on your sewing machine you can do lots. If you can't then you can do straight line quilting. You might find the site below useful http://www.how-to-quilt.com/articles/index.shtml

Welcome Maria! I hope you have as much fun here as I have had. I machine quilt all the time. I have hand quilted too. We might be able to be more helpful if you answere few questions..... how big is your quilt? How large is your pvc frame? what kind of quilting effect do you want? Do you have your batting yet? Let me know, and we can go from there.... later
