Hi Everyone! This is my first time here. I love to sew/quilt. I've been quilting about 5 years and I love it. I just need more hours in the day to enjoy it! My DH and I live on 10 acres, 2 dogs, 2 cats. Our DS and DD have left the nest and live in the city. We are both retired, although we now work together at a family business. Need to slow down!! Right now I'm working on a dresden plate, along with other WIP. I'm looking forward to meeting all of you and sharing a craft I love.
welcome!! You aren't the only canadian we've got here
Come on in, poke around, and please please show off your work! We all love to see what each other accomplishes! If you have an album of your work somewhere like flickr or photobucket I know we'd all love to admire
I have been quilting about three years now and recently joined BC myself. The people here are so friendly and helpful, I am sure you will have a wonderful time. I am almost an empty nester ... I have one on his own and two still in college, but they are in dorms right now and one is graduating in June and the other next year ... so I have some time to quilt ... but never enough, it seems ... so many quilts, so little time, <3 Pat

Thank you for such a warm welcome! Great to hear there are more Canucks too. There is so much to visit and check out here, I'm thoroughly enjoying myself.
Oh Scrapatches, I agree, so many quilts, too little time -- but I'm sure having fun trying!! Love that "welcome" sign! LOL!
Jenn and Becca, thanks so much. It's so much fun sharing quilting, isn't it.
Hope you see you all around the forum real soon! Thanks again!
Welcome! I just joined BC, too -- it's a great group of people!
Have fun exploring the boards!

Another Canadian? Welcome! You all are getting to be quite a contingent! LOL Any hockey fans? Is that a silly question, or what? We have quite a few Michiganders who are die-hard Red Wing fans! My DH is also a big curling fan. We watch curling on the TV station out of Windsor.
My dream! I want to live on a farm, or in the woods, my husband is an antique buff and he needs a big ole barn to work on his "stuff" and also to display it. Now it is in every nook and cranny of our home except my sewing room. My kids are grown so I can sew all day which I do most of the time. I hope to get to know the BC quilters and to participate in a swap of round robin.
