Hello everyone...My name is Carole. When I signed up, it showed that my email address was already registered, but I don't remember ever posting here before! lol...

I consider myself to be an advanced-beginner quilter...and have too many ideas for GREAT projects - and the fabric stash to back them up!

I lost my mom & grandma in the last month, so thought I'd come here to get my quilt-chatting fix! Frown <I inherited fabric stashes from both of them...so now I have even MORE fabric!>

I'm preparing to make 7 memory quilts from some of their clothing - 1 for each of us siblings (4); 1 for each of my kids (2); 1 for my step-dad...This will definitely be a labor of love! I asked 4 of my dear friends to help me with this huge undertaking & they're just waiting for me to be ready to begin...

Sorry to babble, but like I said, I need my quilt chatting fix!

I look forward to getting to know you all.

Thanks!

I'm in the foothills ("western slope") -- in Pioneer. In case you don't know the area, I'm about 60 miles SE of Sacramento & 70 miles SW of Carson City, NV.

I have always been interested in people who make me laugh!!! You can never have a dull moment with these people. And if you happen to have "one of those moments" then it's okay, they just laugh with you.
