to BC, Linda!
I have been quilting about three years, too, although I made baby quilts over twenty years ago for my three babies. Then I stopped quilting until after they started to leave the nest. Now I hope to make quilts for thier babies someday, if we are so blessed as to have them.
I love Kim's patterns and newsletter, too. Are you working on any of them right now? I have started the BC BOM for 2008 and I am in the middle of making a larger quilt out of her Grape Basket Pattern by adding pieced borders.
If you like swapping blocks and such you should check out the swap section and when you feel ready, just jump right in. I did and I am happy I did.
The May Happy Block Swap (which has a drawing at the beginning of the month where two lucky quilters win all the blocks) is still wide open for sign-ups and these blocks are quick and easy.
I have only been on the BC boards since January and I have made so many friends.
And now I hope I am making a new one ...
