I'd love to post pictures, but I don't have any yet, and DF is the one who knows how to do that sort of thing. So even if I had photos, I wouldn't want him to see them (plus, I haven't told him I'm making my own dress...I want it to be a surprise).

I will try to post some after the wedding though!

Hey, Welcome from the UK! Dont worry, we'll talk you through posting pics.
I'm an American living in Yorkshire, so if I talk like I'm from Ca. or NC...it's cause I am!
Where are you in NH?
Happy Qulting.
Have fun here, we all do!

Hello from Massachusetts. Good to have another New Englander on board. Are you close to Nashua?

I'm about an hour from Nashua, up on the seacoast. But I just landed a job in Burlington, VT last week (unexpectedly), so it looks like I'll be moving sometime in the middle of August!

Ginger ...

Best wishes on the new job and the new home ...

lots of nice quilt shops in VT ... Big Grin

We were in southern VT for a time three years ago due to my DH's job ... I think that is one of the reasons I really got into quilting ... I had made a quilt or two and enjoyed making them ... then I found I had lots of time on my hands in a strange place and I just hauled my sewing machine along and spent a lot of it sewing and quilting ...

Hope your new job gives you time to enjoy your quilting ...

Pat

Hi Welcome! I'm also new and have found others to be really helpful. I love to quilt and do most of my work by hand, especially applique and quilting. I have done some hand piecing. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.
