You know Meg, I just am doing everything right now. I think I really enjoy wall hangings or lap sized Quilts. I get bored very easily if the project is too big or time consuming. Guess I like the gratification of seeing an accomplishment. I have made a bed sized Quilt in a class I took in Oct last year. Since then I have made purses, anda few other misc. things.

Welcome, Jackie, from central Alberta, Canada! Smile Welcome I know you will enjoy yourself here, and I also know what you mean by working on a variety of things - I have so many WIPs (works in progress) and keep finding myself starting new ones. It's notorious here for ideas and swaps etc - it'll keep ya busy for years! Confetti

I'm trying to make more wall hanging/table runner/topper size quilts - we're building our own house, and there is very little wall space - lots of windows and doors in a small house. So instead of making 12 inch blocks, I'm scaling them down to 6-8" blocks, if not smaller. Eek

Have fun with your quilting, and do join in with us here. Did anyone mention Trivia night? It's every Friday at 6PM Central in the chatroom here at Block Central - we have a blast Banana and learn some things, too. Please try to join us!

Any questions you have, we'll gladly try to answer. Just remember, the only dumb question is the one not asked (and nobody's dumb around here, not allowed, nuh uh! Smile )

Thank you all for the nice warm welcome. I am enjoying looking around here so far.
I did see that you have the trivia thing on friday nights. I would love to join in.
I am a nures at the local hospital in Shelby MT, and work 12 hour shifts. I work three days every week, so some weeks I can't make it to Trivia. Also I would like to sign up for the block exchanges, but I'm not sure I can finish in the month allowed when I am working.
We will see what happens.
Again Thank you all.
