Hi
I'm Donna from a small town outside of Houston, Texas. I'm married and have 3 sons. The oldest doesn't live at home now. My youngest is still in school he will a Senior this year. I'm very active in my church, my hubby and I teach Sunday School to the 4 and 5 yr olds. I help my husband with his side job, we mow yards other than that I'm not working at the moment. I'm very new to quilting, my friend is teaching me to quilt and anyone else who is willing to. My sister quilts, but she lives in another town. I do lots of other crafts, in fact my husband questioned me on why I would what to add quilting to my long lists of crafts. I know I would love to make wall hangings and quilt art. May be work some of my other crafts in to my quilting. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and I know I will learn and be inspired by each of you. |

Welcome, Donna, from another Texan and another beginner quilter. I'm also from a little town outside of Houston. I joined the forum a few months ago and just love it. The people here have been so warm and welcoming and have made me feel right at home. I'm sure you will, too!

Hello, Donna, and
 to BC!May you make very beautiful quilted wall-hangings ... I am sure your experence in other crafts will be a great help with making beautiful art quilts ... and many friends here! I used to do more of other crafts ... mostly crochet and knitting, cross stich years ago when my eye-sight permitted such and more ... but for now I just like to sew and sew ...
