SUGAR only! LOL Souther tea is just tea sugar and water with ice.

Good Morning Ladies
Hope you are all having a wonderful day.
I took a spill this past week-first fall in over 30years and I am hurting like crazy. My have to see a doc tomorrow. My left knee is black and blue half way up and down my leg! My right side is killing me just below my rib cage, maybe some of the pain could be along the bottom rib, not sure where it is coming from yet, have a couple knots there too which is making it hard to breath today.

I had my shoes on and got up from the computer and my left foot caught and stuck to the floor and I lost my balance and fell. Made me sick to my stomach and I shook like a leaf for what seemed like forever.

Ladies you all have a great week will chat when able.

Happy Quilting!

I have always been interested in people who make me laugh!!! You can never have a dull moment with these people. And if you happen to have "one of those moments" then it's okay, they just laugh with you.

Oh Deb I am so sorry. The last time I fell it was when I got up from the computer with my coffee in my hand! Didn't know my foot and ankle were dead and the minute I put my weight on it down I went. We are still finding places where that coffee flew everywhere! That was months ago. I get up very carefully now!

Hello Tracy,
PA is a beautiful state! I wish I could visit more often...I've only just driven through it. Welcome to BC! Sorry to hear of your loss, funny how MIL's can be such a pain or a blessing. Sounds as you had the best kind of all..one who quilts!

We will include you in as much as you want to be a part of. Got a question? ...we got answers! Got a gripe or sorrow? ...lots of shoulders to cry on...no waiting. Got something to celebrate? We've got lots of Confetti confetti!!!!!

Hope to see some of your work soon.

Hello Tracy, welcome to the site.
I'm sorry for the loss of your MIL.
I have plans to someday visit Pa. It is where my ancestors (both sets of great grands on my mother's side) lived when they first came to America from central Europe.

Chilimom-

Sounds like your MIL and my beloved sister were cut from the same piece of cloth! LOL To paraphrase Will Rodgers, my Kate never met a fabric she didn't like! I inherited her stash as I am the only other seamtress in the family, other than my mother (who is 88 and couldn't possibly use up all that fabric if she sewed 24/7 for the next ten years!)

Your MIL has given you a great gift. Not only the physical treasures, such as the vintage blocvks and magazines, but more importantly, the inspiration to take up quilting again. And when you give those quilts away and tell people they came from Grandma Sew-and Sew's stash, they will be thrilled beyond words. That has been my experience anyway.

Welcome to the forum.
