I've got 1/3 of the blocks made for my Pink/Brown Quilt top. And the strip sets made for the rest of the blocks. WOO HOO! I'll post a pic when I get the top done - with or without border fabric, which I still need to get.

Anyone else got their beautiful pink/brown quilts started?

Great job, Cindy - and it IS a job, as Jean and I will attest to from the first two strip swaps.

But what beautiful strips! Finding the projects for all the strips is half the fun!

I just bought a new book "Strip Clubbing" by Cozy Quilt Designs. It has lots of cute patterns in it for strips. Can't wait to start on one of them with the pink and brown strips.
Maybe the 1st project with my new little Featherweight?!

Woo Hoo! I just posted a pic of my Queen Size Pink/Brown strips quilt top. None of the blocks are sewn together, but I kinda like the placement, so think my next step is to sew them together.

I had to add some of my own stash strips, since this called for 60 strips. After these 100 blocks are sewn together, I will add a dark 1" border and a wider pink/brown print border. I need to get these sewn together first, though, so I can take it with me to see what the quilt wants to have as its borders. You know quilts, they kinda SPEAK to border fabrics. LOL!

Believe it or not, these blocks went together VERY quickly and easily.
