Linda, that is beautiful. Did you use the strips as cut or did you cut them down to a smaller size? I'm still deciding on what to do with mine but I have to get two graduation quilts made first. Love your quilt top. Barb Mcf

I'm glad people like the top. Maybe this will encourage some of you to find a pattern and get started. LOL! I did cut these strips down to 2-1/2", because that is what the pattern called for. I am going to "make a test run" with some scraps, because I THINK you could use the strips at the 3" width and still get the same number of blocks out of the WOF. Inquiring minds want to know, and I am going to find out. LOL! If so, that would make the blocks slightly larger, but have a little less leftovers on the ends. I am making two WHs out of the leftovers - they make a different pattern. I'll post one of those soon. Don't want to waste anything. LOL!

Linda, Where did you post the picture of your quilt? I can't find it and I am dying to see it! Thanks, Tracy quote: Originally posted by Linda O: Woo Hoo! I just posted a pic of my Queen Size Pink/Brown strips quilt top. None of the blocks are sewn together, but I kinda like the placement, so think my next step is to sew them together.
I had to add some of my own stash strips, since this called for 60 strips. After these 100 blocks are sewn together, I will add a dark 1" border and a wider pink/brown print border. I need to get these sewn together first, though, so I can take it with me to see what the quilt wants to have as its borders. You know quilts, they kinda SPEAK to border fabrics. LOL!
Believe it or not, these blocks went together VERY quickly and easily.
