What a neat pattern for some of the Christmas strips. I'm downloading it now. Hmmmm! My brain is thinking again - OH NO! This pattern would be great adapted for other prints and be a birthday or wedding cake; pinky pastel prints for a girl, blues for a boy, whites/off-whites for a wedding cake. Just leave the top couple "branches" off and add a pieced row with candles. LOL!
Also, I am using more of the Christmas strips to make the package quilt - with the prints for the "paper" parts of the package and maybe solids or tiny prints for the bows.

Hi all, Happy New Year from Australia. It is such a long time since I have been on here, but thought I should drop in and show you all the finished product. I have finally finished my "Strawberry Chocolate Delight" from the strip swap. It took me forever to get the urge to quilt it. I am not keen on quilting. I am very proud of myself, I drew it all up on EQ6 and then got it all to go right. I designed the block myself, but I am sure it already has a name. Anyway here it is.
Yay I did it, only took three goes to get the picture to come up. If it is in the wrong spot, could I please get someone to move it and tell me where it has gone.
Margarita, WELCOME BACK!!! Wow, great job on the quilt - and the design! I have EQ5 and haven't done a thing with it!! This year I intend to learn that, and PhotoBucket!!!
I really like the checkerboard border - sets the whole thing off beautifully!! Way to go, you!!
Happy New Year!! Don't be such a stranger,now, 'k??

This is the quilt that I made from the Pink and Brown Strips. The pattern is called Jellystone Park. I made it for my newest Granddaughter, Ashtyn Marie.

Ladies those quilts are both beautiful and each one looks different. I have been collecting more fabrics to add to my strips, now that I have enough, that is the next quilt I will start.
