You can make Toad-in-the-Hole with the Yorkshire pudding recipe. Put cooked sausages, chops, or any kind of meat in a hot baking pan, pour the pudding over it and bake like normal. Mmmmmmmmmmm! KimUK probably knows that one.

Okay I finally made mine. Um I think I must have done something wrong. Is it supposed to sink when it comes out of the oven? It looked so pretty baking in there, you can actually see it rising! But when it came out it fell flat and I like to never got it out of the pan. I used aluminum muffin tins so you think this could be my problem. And can we use just one egg? It seemed heavy to me. Probably because it fell flat!!! LOL

Jacqui and Becca, I'm so sorry I failed you.... Frown

Jenell-

Was your pan hot enough? I used to have the same problem with it falling until Jacqui told me to put the pan in the hot oven so it was very hot when the mixture was added. Something about the intense heat causing the egg to rise and hold its shape, kind of like a souffle.

The pan was really hot! How much drippings are you supposed to put in each one?

Hi sweetheart you probably didn't leave it in long enough once it had risen, it will fall slightly but shouldn't be heavy. YOu really need to use two eggs , what type of milk did you use? Skimmed isn't really very good. not enough fat content
