Mare, Here is my mother's recipe for Rhubarb 1-2-3: 1 C sugar with a pinch or two of nutmeg added 2 C chopped rhubard 3 C buttered bread crumbs Mix together and bake in medium oven. I am still working on getting her pie recipe and my sister's recipe for strawberry/rhubard jam. My mother says rhubarb can be canned and used later as a sauce, like applesauce or the juice can be thickened and used for pie.

Nice site, Nola. Lots of good stuff. My dh was just remembering some strawberry rhubarb pancakes he had once a LONG time ago. Anyone have a recipe for that or know where I can find one? I've been searching, but have struck out so far. He may have to settle for a strawberry rhubarb syrup... Delia
