Delia, you will love the upgrade. Eq6 is so much easier and more convenient to use. And you can save your Eq5 pattern to Eq6 very easily!

Love mine and use it a lot. Still need to learn a lot though. I learn as I need to do something. I started following the lessons but for me it's better to do as I go along.

I bought EQ6 a while ago and have not had time to play with it.. the book does seem easier to read through and practice with your design... I wish that there were not so many designs in the mags!! I find one in my monthlies and then that is it I have to do it!!

I am more a see and do it.. sitting down to read the instructions is booooring to me.. but again that word perserverance comes up again!!

Deb, when I first got eq5, I sat down and maybe did 3 lessons but that's not my thing either. So as I wanted to do something I grabbed their cookbook and hey I learned that way!

I upgraded to eq6 and it's so much better than eq5 I did a couple of the lessons and I'm back to looking up what I want to do.... Sorry I'm in too much of a hurry to just sit and do lessons.

Betty I laugh when people say that we must be so patient to make a quilt... little do they know there are so many patterns out there that we don't have the patience to finish one that we start another.

I feel with EQ that once I got the hang of it like cyberchat/quilting I would spend more time than i already do at the computer instead of quilting... then I just will never ever sleep.
I need my sleep so that I can dream up the next patttern...

I see on some of the sites that people make applique patterns with EQ how amazing is that.. I want it more for my own original boarders. Especially with all the swap blocks that are storing in my UFO's pile!!

Deb, I have to confess I can come up with more color combinations when I play and it's just so confusing to have to choose the one you like best! lol I confuse myself!
