I am on lesson 6 (pg 98) #'s 40 and 41. I can get the heart, but when it says to click BLOCK> Wreathmaker, Wreathmaker is not highlited so no box appears with 3 choices. I can't figure out what I did wrong. I did notice that their background is a bunch of tiny dots and mine is divided into quarters with fewer small dots. Thanks for any insight on this one!!! Wendy

Wendy, I'm opening EQ6 now and I'll see if I can help you. Man you are doing good, I've never gone beyond the 1st couple of lessons. But I use my Eq6 all the time..I just look up what I need to do! lol

Wendy or you there? Do you Have Yahoo IM? If so we can chat about this. I finally got the Wreath Maker so I can click on it. My heart was too small, make your heart larger and see if that works. Also be sure you are in "Applique" on your block.
Oh my Yahoo ID is the same as here..so if you have MSN or Yahoo IM you should be able to get me.

Hi, After you have your heart made try clicking edit (the edit button is the second button in on your toolbar) then click on select all choice at the bottom of the drop down box. After you have it selected you would then go to wreathmaker and play around. Have you tried the videos? They make more sense. To be honest I wish I hadn't bought it. I like graph paper much better and will probably keep using that. eq6 is somewhat limited and very hard to draw with. That's only my opinion and that isn't worth much. Priscilla
