I would like to move our Book Thread to another more prominent location. Any suggestions out there. I just don't think it needs to be under patterns but don't know where else to put it!

Betty, could the Book Thread not be put under 'Looking For Patterns' but as a separate home and not under 'I'm looking for...' thread? - does that make sense? - like Forum Announcements and Introductions fall under General

Betty, I think Mary is on to something great here. Great idea Mary! Could this separate folder or whatever you call them titles , be called: "Kindness and Sharing Corner" for just a suggestion? This could be for sharing not only our Book Titles, but other great Items we Love in Our Quilting too! Blue Fish Fishing for your ideas??????????

Mary, duh didn't think of that! Where is my brain? No don't answer that questions. Another thing, I don't know who created the Thread Topic but I'm thinking it should be Looking for Patterns or Books! What do you think?

Yes, Betty, would be good to include the Books in the title.

Ladies,

We have so many new quilter's here, and sometimes even the seasoned quilter needs a refresher on a point or two, so thought I would share this. I was reading the newletter from Appleblossom Farms (hope I got that right) and there was a link to Pat Cummings website.

Ms. Cumming is the author of four quilting books, and they will be available to read, free of charge on her website. Straight Talk About Quilt Care Display, Cleaning, and Storage of New and Antique Quilts and Needlework, the first book, sounds like a wonderful reference for all.

Check it out!

Great books everyone. Here's one I just picked up a few months ago. It's called Beautiful Borders, Backing, Bindings by Jill Reber and Margaret Sindelar. ISBN 978-1-890621-81-0

Full of neat ideas and projects for borders and such. I'm sure I'll find some good ones here for our round robin, I may have to scale them down, but the ideas are there.

Enjoy! Dorian
