Thank you Linda, I have to remember to go look through one every week so I can remember what I have. That's why I started this because some I've had so long I forgot about them! It's a good way to remember, especially when someone shares one you have but had forgotten!

Ladies, I have had these three books on my desk to share with you so I will get to it so I can put them back in the bookcase. All three are written by Carol Doak who as you know is the PP Goddess!

#01 Easy Stash Quilts which also had a CD with it is a great source for stash quilts. Her step-by-step explanations and photos really help you understand how to master paper-piecing. It is published by Martingale and distributed by That Patchwork Place. ISBN: 1-56477-264-0

#02 40 Bright & Bold Paper-Pieced Blocks contains 12-inch designs. Beautiful stars and geometic blocks. ISBN: 1-56477-394-9 There was no CD with this one but I understand that it is available now!

#03 300 Paper-Pieced Quilt Blocks with CD is a terrific source for all sorts of blocks. There are flowers, ducks, stars, houses, leaf blocks, lighthouses, birdhouses, witches, baskets and just everything. The colors she uses are bright and bold and her instructions are inspiring!

I just love all her work.

I have three new books to add to this thread today.

21 Terrific Patchwork Bags by Susan Briscoe Published by David & Charles ISBN 0 7153 1440 8 hardback and 0 7153 1443 2 paperback. This book has lots of cute purse patterns but it also has a Quilter's Briefcase, a Long work bag and a small work bag that would be wonderful to have when we carry our projects around. I haven't made anything from this book yet but it has wonderful color pics with the instructions and alternate looks for most of the projects.

Little Things Mean A Lot by Pam Bono. Published byLeisure Arts Produced by Pam Bono Designs. This book is full of small quilting ideas. I have already made two small flower basket quilts to hang in my dining room and it has place mats, pillows, letter holders, doilies of several different designs, and even a lap quilt pattern. It is a wonderful book and the instructions are very precise. Lots of quick gift ideas!!

Make a Quilt in a Day - Log Cabin Pattern by Eleanor Burns. ISBN 0 922705 98 4 Published by Quilt in a Day, Inc. I am soon going to start making a log cabin quilt with this pattern. Eleanor Burns teaches a chain sewn technique for the log cabin quilt that will indeed make it a quilt project. All in one day, not sure I'm up to that but this book is very easy to follow with lots of color pics and instructions.

isn't eleanor burns the one with the technique where you quilt the individual blocks as you sew them and then the quilt is done when they are joined together? or am i thinking of someone else? that technique sounds interesting.
