Something caught my attention today and it got me to thinking about something I was taught to do as a small child and maybe took forgranted until today...
Do you tell people how much you love them? or just some little thing that you like about them or like what they are wearing/doing?
or
Are you to busy with your day & what you are doing to listen to what someone is actually saying/asking you? Do you put their needs first?
Do you tell secrets that you shouldn't for self gradifiction? or maybe to make them feel bad?
Do you have a need to spread gossip that tears someone down to build yourself up?
Are you a professing believer in God and/or His creation? Tell someone today how much that you love or care for them.
I came to BC with quilting questions and I stayed here because of all the love that flows around in here. I have forged some good friendships here over the last 2 years that I have been here. I am also big enough to love someone who hurts me, Jesus did that very same thing for me and I am created in His image. None of us are worthy, but He loved us ALL.
I give tribute to Kim for creating a warm loving atomsphere for everyone to come to that has quilting needs and or just seeking friendship. Ladies let's keep it full of love.
Kim you are a busy creative lady and you make me feel special when you are able to come around and chat or answer a question or two. You have started a great thing here by creating the forum and the Serial Blog sites. You have always took the time to answer my questions and try to find one if you didn't know what to do. You have set the barfor the rest of us. 3 cheers for Kim who has given us this palce to call "Quilting" home. Kim you are very loved here.
Ok if you are reading this then now it is your turn to give tribute to someone who is dear and special to you here on BC
Happy Quilting! Bama Deb ~ Sweet Home AL I have always been interested in people who make me laugh!!! You can never have a dull moment with these people. And if you happen to have "one of those moments" then it's okay, they just laugh with you.
Deb hun that is a beautifully written piece. I would like to pay tribute to my BC family. This wonderful group has helped me through many dark times and has given me a place to come to laugh and share. So Thank You my friends for being so kind, caring and supportive, you all mean so much to me in many different ways, it would take me a long long time to write out individuals, then I would be worried I had left some out. I love this group..... everyone is special
Thank You for letting me share your lives

Thanks, Deb! You're making me blush. I am glad you appreciate me - I just want to help! And for some reason, I have success in finding things. I like to make people happy. That said, I get so much from you and everyone else here - your cheeriness no matter what, your words of encouragement and help to so many, and all the gals here. I love coming on here - that's why I don't get as much sewing done as I should. I love reading about everyone's achievements etc. Jacqui, your zany sense of humour, Meg's kookiness and knowledge, Cindy's cheekiness!Connie's sweet self, Jess and her Sammy Joe, Betty and her talents, oh, I could go on and on and on! Just because I didn't name you, you're not forgotten.
DH knows that when I'm on my computer, I'm more than likely here! He doesn't even mind when I'm on Trivia, even though I should be cooking supper! Gotta love him!!
I love this BC family! Thanks everyone for the laughs and tears and chats and swaps and everything! You all rock!!! Kim, thanks for the wonderful site, and all your hard work for us.
And now, off the stump, and back to work. I have BPSII blocks to cut out! eek, where did the time go?? Best do it soon - we'll be mucho busy again next week, I'm thinking!

I love and appreciate all you gals on BC. You've been a great support when I needed a morale boost. You've "wiped my tears" when I was upset - like when my dog died, etc. You've answered my prayer requests, admired my quilt projects, and so much more.
If I have to single out any one person to thank for something, I think it will be Milica. Some time back I emailed her asking where I could write in England for some genealogy information. I was trying to help a man find his half-sister - born when the father was stationed there during WWII. Milica took the time to help me, even called me two or three times to tell me what she'd found. I haven't heard yet if the man made contact with his sister or not - but, thanks to Milica, I was able to give him information on where he might be able to find her.
Thanks, Milica - and thanks to all you wonderful people for your support. And thanks, Kim, for making BC my favorite "quilting bee"!
