Take out sounds great Deb. Enjoy!

I have to run to the store today, so will pick something up there for dinner. Don't know what though. I will have to see what we all feel like later.

Last night I ended up making chicken tacos. My kids will eat tacos everynight of the week, if I let them!

Tonight is movie night for us.Once a week we do this. We are going to watch "The Day After Tomorrow". And we have a picnic while watching. So for tonight's dinner it is Burger Bundles, baked potatoes and salad.

That movie really spooked me, especialy with all the weird weather and storms and huricanes here in the good ole USA..I do think our country is in a very weird weather pattern, and I really hope this movie never happens!!

We had good ole hamburgers for dinner last night. Nothing spectacular, but it hit the spot.

I have a steak out for tonight. I want to grill it, maybe get some squash to grill with it. And have salad too. We haven't had salad in awhile and I am craving it.

Thanks Meg Smile

Spagetti sounds good, so I think that's what will be for dinner tonight. I have a question about spagetti sauce on the recipe board...

I have some chicken breast out for dinner. I think I'll make chicken Kiev, as I haven't done that in a long while. Not sure what dishes to make with it though.

What's cooking at your house?

Chicken Kiev, that sounds like a recipe that needs to be shared. hint hint

Steve has to work today- the museum is a 7-day operation- but it is overtime so he doesn't mind. DS2 starts school this week so we are going to fix his favorite meal. Hamburgers and corn on the cob, cooked on the grill. We found a big ole' vadalia onion, so I will make onion rings for him. Think I might make some fried green tomatoes for me. Oh, and potato salad made with (some) veggies from my garden.

I have a cabbage that needs to be used. When I lived in Indiana, I was introdused to a salad that uses a vinegar based dressing rather than a mayonnaise base. I have since seen it delis, called health sald. We call it Hoosier Cole Slaw. I'll put the recipe on the other thread.

Sounds like a tremendous amount of food, but I love veggies and all the different flavors and textures. And it will make leftovers for Steve to take to work. He loves to "torment" his co-workers. None of them are cooks, and they can't believe he does all this on his grill.
