Dee, I'm sorry for your situation. It's got to be tough. Offering to teach the kids how to cook is a great idea. I know my kids love being in the kitchen with me. And I'll tell you, that fast food is NOT good for a child with ADD. All those perservatives, msg and other things just add to it and make it worse.
Hugs and thoughts, hope things work out for you.

As for me, I haven't been the best lately. LOL. We've been eating 'fast food' but homemade. I haven't done a nice meal in a few days. I've been doing things like chicken strips and hamburgers. Time for a good meal.
As the weather cools off, I look forward to making stews, roasts, and soups.
But the only meat I have on hand today is chicken strips. They are part of the breast meat, already cut off. And packaged together. Cheaper than whole breasts, and still just as tasty. So maybe I'll do a stirfry tonight. I have peanuts in the cupboard so I think I'll do chicken Pad Thai. One of my boy's (that's my dh and oldest son, lol) favorites.

Dorian what makes it worst they refuse to see theres anything that needs correcting-alot of tongue biting on my part. Yesterday I tried to spread some baby material on the floor so I could start cutting and this lil one wanted to ride a big car over it then threw a fit when i asked him not to-even tried giving him a project but then I had the other 2 kids join in and what started as a simple cutting job ended up putting my nerves on end-hmmm maybe another day...lol
