They are saying 1-4 inches of that wonderful stuff. Cant wait. God I love it when it snows. I grew up in Colorado and it has never has stop fasinating me.. Got the shovel out and I'am ready.. Tee Hee

Midge, I'd love to send you some of our snow. I too love the snow, but not if I have to drive in it. My son came home a couple of hours ago and said the roads were very slippery. Good thing I have the day off tomorrow. ~Linda

I live in the "middle of the mitten" and I, too, love snow!!! I am so lucky, as I work from home..but my dh has to drive many miles to work every day. I love snow at this time of year, but please, no ice. It seems we have had so much ice instead of snow these past few years. There is truly nothing like a Michigan winter!!!

Now I HAD to get my MI map out - been meaning to for a while... My Mom now lives in Byron Center ( outskirts of Grand rapids ) and we go to visit her each summer. I probably drive right by you Julia, as we fly in to Chicago and then drive to GR. I do miss the snow, but I don´t miss commuting in it... Enjoy and stay safe! Karen

We got about an inch last night and it was still snowing a little this morning. Of course everyone on the road was driving like they've never seen snow before. Sigh...I don't like snow.

We were just hoping for some rain here on the plains and we missed that. It doesn't usually snow here this early, and it's usually more ice than the wet stuff.

We here in Louisiana got some rain last night, and today it is in the 40's. I LOVE IT!!!! If it would only snow here. You see, when it snows here everything comes to a standstill. No work, no school, no stores open, no anything! It is a SNOW DAY! Boy do I need one just to catch up on the quilting I need to do! Been sewing like crazy on Starfall (only have the borders left) and my gift for Santa Surprise needs to be done, and another quilt to add borders to, and another to piece! Boy, I could really get some stuff done with a snow day. Well, that is not in the forcast, so guess I will have to work. YUK!!!! Everyone with snow, enjoy it and stay safe. Cassie
