Jacqui,

What is the problem with Jay? Guess I missed something somewhere. I do hope he is on the re-bound.

So sorry to hear about your garden. Yours got further than mine did. It was so cold and wet all spring, and by the time the weather improved, by interest had completely waned. The birds got all the cherries, all the strawberries, all the raspberries, I didn't even care. Most of the stuff I had planted got waterlogged and died and I didn't bother to re-plant.

Yes, Herman and I had so much fun playing Barbie's that I am taking today off and doiing it again! Yesterday there was a John Wayne marathon- we watched Rio Lobo, Rio Bravo, Hondo, and part of The Seekers. Wonder who we might find today?

But first I have to make three strawberry pies for church this evening. That shouldn't take too long.

Have a great day all! Smile

Good Morning, my Quilty Friends ...

always so nice to drop in and read what is happening in your quilty corners ...

Pammy ... I do not think I have stuff I could sell for $500 at a yard sale ... great job Clap

Meg ... strawberry pie ... yum ... Wink

Jacqui ... good to hear that Jay-Jay is getting back to his happy self ... sounds like your trip was fabulous ... waiting for workmen to show up and do their thing while I sit in a corner and can't do much but stay out of their way is not one of my favorite things ... but I always enjoy the benefits when the job is done ... knitting scarves for Christmas presents sounds like a good plan ... Smile

My computer is running very slow Snail and my DH has been trying to locate the probelm without a shut down and a major overhaul ... but it may just come down to that ... so if I dissappear for a few days into cyber space ... do not be concerned ... I will return ... Wink

Good morning Ladies,

I'm hard at work this morning at our new building. We are getting to the end thank goodness. Its been a long year with my new company but well worth it. Right now I'm setting in one our future offices getting high off the fumes from the sealer thats going down in our lobby area. So, if you dont hear from me in the next few days send out the search and rescue party because I'm passed out somewhere in the building. LOL.. : ) Anyways, i hope everyone is having a fantastic day.

Pammy

Good Morning Ladies! Smile It's only supposed to get to 96 degrees today and we are excited here!!! This heat has been monsterous and we broke an 80 year record this week.

Jacqui, I'm so glad Jay Jay is doing better now. I knew you could love him back into shape!

Oh Pat, tell hubby we are missing all your wonderful smileys and need that computer back up to speed pronto!

I'll take one slice of pie please.

I watched hsn last night and they almost sent me over the edge with 2 new sewing machines that I NEED but didn't need. Eek Oh my, that was close! I have to stay away from that channel! The doc just added and extra week of antibiotics so hopefully I will be normal again soon.

It's good to see everyone posting, especially all of your happy smiles Jacqui, we have been missing those a lot lot lot!!!

Pammy, refresh me, is this your own company? I would be out the door on that fume smell. A royal case of the vapors!

Jacqui, you can check out the shopping channel here http://www.hsn.com/
Today is Bill's day off and he turned on the tv and they were showing it again! He is so sweet, he told me to pick one and he would buy it. Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin I think I'll want the curvy. It had so many extra gizmos with it and you can drop the feed dogs! Yipee! Now I can learn free motion! So you can see who the strong one is in my family! lol
Fix Steve a nice cup of tea and let him settle in before you tell him about the holes!
