Hot Toddy,s
1 ounces Whiskey
1 ounce Honey
1 ounce Lemon Juice
3 ounces Water (Hot)
If you have a microwave, the easiest way to make this drink is to warm the honey and lemon juice for about half a minute and then to add hot water and the whiskey. Otherwise, we recommend that you stir the honey and lemon juice into extremely warm water, allow it to cool slightly, and add the whiskey.


and then mom would put vicks on my chest and was sent to bed. It always worked. Hope everything goes good for all of you.

Good morning Ladies!

Not much going on in my life, but thought I'd drop in and say hello. It's birthday month here, both my boys are turning a year older. Jed just had his and Carson's is coming up. So lots of cake, mmmm. I've been working on some fabric baskets for a wedding gift. They are almost done, yeah!

Going to be awfully hot this week blah So will stay indoors to keep cooler. The garden is doing fantastic though, as most of our smoke is finally gone. The fires are almost all out now, yah.

Dee, hope you feel better soon. Drinking hot toddy's without the whiskey is also very good for you. Sometimes even better, as sometimes alcohol isn't the best if your immune system is low. But warm lemon water with honey is great on the throat and chest.

Jacqui, hope you are feeling better real soon too Hon.

Meg, I hope this week goes much better for you!! Woohoo to the help you got from your son.

9:07 and I just popped another project into an evelope for DH to mail on his way to work. I am on a roll now! Of course, what I need to be rolling is the vacuum cleaner! Ha!

Tell you what Meg, I will be your co host and as I have rolled the vacuum around then you don't have to lolol sharing is a good thing lolol... I have cooked braising steak for dinner, cut it up with onions and mushrooms and put a little of this and a little of that in it cooking cauli and broccolli and carrots with it , will serve it with onion sauce yum

Jacqui, I stopped looking! So it's good so far! lol I've stopped to scan a block I made for a swap I'm in...it's an Indian Amish Girl Block and it's so cute. But I've got to post it and get those 12 blocks off in the mail tomorrow. I'll bet I'll spend close to $100 dollars by the time this month is over. With the Pyramids Swap packages mailed out; 3 birthday yards going to friends, 10 9-patch blocks going out; the Native American blocks going out and I've still a Christmas RR to go and an Oriental Theme Block to be made and sent out.

I won't have a dime for next month! lol
