Do any of you cross stitch? I'm looking for some good military patterns. I don't want the cheesy ones I can find at Hobby Lobby and such. I'm also looking for an alphabet I can stitch on ribbon band and make into a wreath. I need a break from this huge behemoth of a project I've been working on:

i dont take any of the magazines, but i am thinking about stoney creek. I always steal my mom's old ones when I go up there. What are your favorite ones?

jenn, just wondering here - is there any particular branch of service you would be interested in as i look at charts? or just military in general?

I used to subscribe to Cross Stitch.... can't remember the name, and they are packed away - now my favourite it the Country cross stitch one - not that I've done any xst lately! Too busy building and quilting.
I don't have any patterns that would help you, Jenn, so sorry! But it looks like you have some help already. I agree with Cindy, I'd sure like to see the one you're working on when it's done - WOW it's super!! Gerda A day hemmed in prayer seldom unravels. Keep looking UP! When it seems there is no way out, there is always a way up! |
