Hey, Trina! That third one you posted? It opens to a page with a Jeannette Douglas BOM . I grew up with her!! She lives in Calgary, Alberta! I was in between her and her older sister in age. Boy, it's been decades since I've seen her. I need to look up her website again. Thanks for the reminder! Smile

Jenn,

I'm taking the lazy way out here. If you run across any for the Coast Guard, would you let me know, please? I have given up looking for them as they seem to be so scare.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh, this ol' history buff wants that war (gotta love the "War of Aggression")!!!!

My household does a lot of cross stitch (among other crafts). I'll definitely be looking up that pattern to see if I can get my hands on one.

Jenn, I haven't looked at my Cross Stitch in years but I'll get a chance this weekend and I'll go through. I know I have lots of Alphabets.... trying to think about Military. Can't remember Military right off hand but I'll look!

Sara are you referring to the one I'm working on now? I got it as a kit at Joann for about 20 dollars, but you can find it online as well for around the same price. It is HUGE. I've done so much but it really doesn't look like it Frown It's a little discouraging!

You're welcome, Meg, and thanks for the compliment, but if it wasn't for Trina's links, I don't know when I would have found it - I do go nosing around posted sites, you know. Oh, well, now you can stitch away to your heart's content!

that said, I will continue to delve and dive and find info when needed. Smile for anyone who needs it'

I have that same project and another along those lines - my DH is a history buff. I haven't even started looking at them yet - got 2 Christmas stockings in the works. I can't wait to see your completed project. I have tons of old Cross Stitch mags, so I'll scan for military charts for you guys. Big Grin
