Kim, it sounds like a classic gallbaldder going bad. Does ithurt all the way back to you shoulder balde and make if difficult to breath? Also when mine weht bad, it took 6 months and a gastroenterolist telling me I was bulemic, I just had to think about things like sausage gravy or bacon to get sick. MY PCP finally said enough is enough and sent me to a surgeon, it pathology said it was chronic inflamation and an imbedded gallstone. better get yourself checked. kat
just a little footnote....if they tel you that you need gall bladder surgery, do not despair, it is all done laparscopically now a days..that surgery is a cinch!! I was back to normal with in 2 weeks. probably wouldn;'t have been that long, but for me waiting to long to see a doctor!!

I'm flabergasted that you have to wait so long for an appointment - Kim, go now and get them to fit you in!! Doesn't sound like classic gastic ulcers - my late-husband had them and as Cindy said, they have the symptoms of a heart attack.
Thinking of you Mary

I never had an ulcer but was on the verge of one years ago when I worked for a lawyer - it was stress-related. I'd get an upset tummy, couldn't eat much, and was nauseated.
Waht you're having sounds more like gall-bladder trouble! Get to your doc, stomp your feet, throw a tantrum and insist on being worked in - and I'll add you to my prayer list!
kim please keep us posted! i hope & pray you are seen today! there are SO many diagnoses that have similar symptoms that only tests and your doctor's knowledge will be able to determine which one is right! i guess the main this is to NOT WAIT!!

I was able to get an appointment for 345 tomorrow. That's pretty good considered the norm. I will let everyone know when I know something. I haven't had any major pain today, just a little burning. That's probably because I've been resting most of the day.
Thanks to all of you ladies for your concern and prayers!!!
