I have always been interested in people who make me laugh!!! You can never have a dull moment with these people. And if you happen to have "one of those moments" then it's okay, they just laugh with you.

Well, I've made it back form the dr. The ride home was an hour of bumper to bumper.
First of all, I would like to thank all of you wonderful ladies for your prayers. You're all such good friends, and it is a blessing to have you to lean on.

I am thsnkful to say that gall bladder and pancreasitis are both ruled out. She says, I show all the signs of a small ulcer and some acid problems. She put me on a proton-acid blocker and a bland diet Frown for the next five weeks. If my symptoms get worse, I am supposed to go back immediately. Otherwise, I have to return in 5 weeks for a follow up and possible more medication. I could also stand to lose 10 lbs or so(shouldn't be too hard on a bland diet), and cut down on stress. What's a girl to do without chocolate?? and no Dr. Pepper???

I am very happy that it wasn't anything more serious!!! I just hope it clears up quickly. Thanks for all the prayers!! Now, it's off to decide what I can eat.

Thanks again to all of you ladies!!! I love you all!!!

I'm pleased that it's not too serious - just continue with your Doc's advise and don't rush to have yr Dr Peppers afterall fizzy drinks are really that good for you with or without an ulcer!

Chocolate not part of a bland diet? Drat! Have you considered a second opinion? Big Grin All joking aside, I am very glad it is nothing more serious. The good part is you aren't looking at surgery. No ugly scars to show in your bikini!

I am happy to hear that it was not anymore serious than it is, you can handle the 5 weeks.

If I were you I would stay off those soft drinks but that is my 2 cents worth only! It took me over a year to give up the habit, I totally believe they are just as addicting as other things. I am to the point now that the only time I have a "bottled" soft drink is if we are out on a very hot day and a coke is about the only thing that will quinch my thirst, it reaches where water can not go! LOL
