Hi, everyone,

I was just wondering if I am the only one who is not able to open the Block Central website. I am getting a message that says something about the "Bandwith has been exceeded" and I cannot access any on the information pages.

Since my heart quilt is just about done, I thought this morning that I would get started on the "Somewhere in Time" BOM and make the first block before January runs out and now I cannot get the pattern info. I was surprised that I could get onto the forums.

Anyone else having this problem or is it my fossil of a computer that is the problem?

Thanks, Jody,

I hope Kim is able to get this site back up and running soon. It is such a treasure trove of quilting information.

I am also getting this message. I am not so proud that I can't go in the back if the front door is locked. PM's show up in my e-mail. I open one of them and then I can access tha forum from there! Sneaky, huh? LOL Big Grin Wink Hey, necessity is the mother of invention, right?

Thanks for sending an e-mail to Kim, Jody. I was wondering if someone had done that. Between this and the problem with spammers on Jess's site, it's enough to make a girl give up on the internet altogether! LOL

I tried "backdooring" my way in through individual links I saved or found on the forum here, Meg, but still did not work for me.

You're a lucky one, Jacqui, if you aren't having any problems.

Oh, well, hope I can get access soon,

I have a response back from Kim this is what she said.

Hi Jody,

Seems that BC was very popular this month and I have indeed exceeded my bandwidth limit. Unfortunately, my webhost is not answering support emails and I am frantic at this point. I'm searching for a new host and hopefully will be able to move everything over, but it could take a few days. I'm not sure, but I think the bandwidth meter will revert back to "0" on Feb 1st, allowing the site to be accessed again. Please feel free to share this info on the forum. I've been so busy working on this problem, that I've not had a chance to do so.

Thanks,

Kim
