Well, Deb, you have more than made up for that!! Meg, I'm glad you're on the mend - funny how some of us get it so much worse than others (especially in the family!!) Sure would like to go to hear/see Beth, but no can do! I'm still hoping to get to Michigan in March (retreat added in ????) Jenell, my grands are 6 and almost 8, but no interest yet, I'll keep plugging - they would rather be riding their bikes, now that they know how, or drawing pictures or watching Woody Woodpecker etc on TeleToon Retro!! Good Morning my friends Well it looks like the weather is being good again I have a busy day today and will be out for a while. I have been trying to get back in and introduce our newest member of the O'Nutt quilting family. Ladies please draw up a chair and bring out the best china, we have a new member. Her name is Ms Acorn O'Nutt. Acorn please sit a spell and share your beautiful quilts and charming manner with us Hazel, Cashew please give her some elbow room. Hazel don't do that !! The peeling is over!!! Ok, now it wasn't all that bad I guess. But I will consider using a fabric foundation next time. This one is headed to the south of Texas so it needed to be lighter. But I am going to check into that stuff that washes away. If it's not unreasonable then I might give it a try. And honestly, if I had done this the right way, it wouldn't have been so tedious. So don't let my whining influence anybody who wants to do this. It really makes the squares precise, and I will do it again. So back to piecing the back again. It should be done by Sunday so I'm still on schedule to have this one out of the house by Monday. Gerda! It's so nice to see you here! We have been missing your wisdom and Meg really hasn't been keeping up in your place. Now I know, she has been ailing but we need our resident librarian. Jacqui, so glad you get some sunshine today. Enjoy every minute of it! I wonder where Laura is on her journey now? Skyler is in a mini cheer camp today and they get to have a little presentation at tonights HS football game. I can't wait to see it! Then Saturday, a short drive to Dad's to enjoy a weenie roast for his birthday. Boy, I am going to have to be creative to sneak in some sewing this weekend.

Cashew, you stop telling fibs this very minute! I did not cough all over the refreshments! It was just a little tickle in my throat, I can't help it- I'm sick! Well, if that's the way you're going to be, I'm leaving! Nobody loves me, everybody hates me, Guess I'll go eat worms! Long, thin, slimy ones; short, fat juicy ones, Itsy, bitsy, fuzzy, wuzzy worms! If Mama Walnut were here, she'd make you be nice to me!
