i think we are all trying to be patient as the changes are made - i'm just gonna take it "day by day" after all, that's all any of us can really do isn't it?

"Transforumation" ... I like it.

It is up there with "Quiltergeist" for my favorite words learned on BC Wink

Glad you dropped in on the quilter bees, Ned.

Good Evening!

Thanks for getting this thread back up, Kim. And Thank You to Jacqui for starting it! Things just wouldn't be the same if I didn't see a "Good Morning" thread that was started by Buggalugs.

Spent a nice day at work today, but not enough customers Frown Jo-Anne and I would like to make just a little money. I have quilty things to buy!

Well, I must go...I have some half-square triangles to trim. Hmmmm...I wonder where they came from.

Oooooo- Looks like I am the first one here today. I am up early because today Mandy K. and I are meeting at the Henry Ford Museum and going to the seminar for the opening of the Susana Allen Hunter exhibit. Although it hasn't been publicized as such, I believe she may have been one of the Gees Bend quilters- her work is in the same genre.

I am quite excited getting to meet another BC quilter, we had hoped that Jody would be able to join us, but due to another commitment, it will just be the two of us.

Now that the weather has finally broke, I think the three of us may try to visit some area LQS together. Have to get ready now. You all have a good day!

P.S. Thanks Kim, I knew there was a way to bring this thread back!

Pat, I'd love to know the definition for "Quiltergeist"! Please share! Smile

Lizzie and Meg, you are welcome. The compromise feels good to me. Smile

Meg, your trip the HFM sounds like a wonderfully inspirational outing. I took a peek at the HFM site and read about the Susana Allen Hunter exhibit. There is so much energy in her quilts...they seem to jump out and grab you! There's a visual rhythm that is really exciting! Please share your thoughts of the seminar and exhibit with us later! Smile

I'd like to say "Good Morning", as well. Today, my 9-year old daughter and I will be doing some household chores in the morning and in the afternoon, she has a friend coming over to play. That will give me time to work on my Pretty Kitty blocks...I'm just brimming with ideas and can't wait to try them out! Smile
