Ever have a day just would like to go live on an island where you don't have to deal with people?And rules?

On top of the summer not being the greatest here with what is going on at my church. Post office have their own set of rules and the customer does not know what they are. I just got done calling my medical clinic that we are assigned to to make a follow up appointment acording to the doctor's specifications. I need to make it for 5 weeks from now. I made it known to the person who answered the call. Conversation goes like this,
"I need to make a follow-up appointment for 5 weeks from now". says I.
"Sorry, m'am, can only make it for 4 weeks out." says the man.
"Ok, then make for 4 weeks out". says I.
"Sorry, m'am, ends on 14 Oct. You'll have to call back.
So I guess I will call back.

I am still trying to figure out the our medical system here. And we have been here since 2005.

Red tape. YUCK!!!! Thank you for letting me vent.
