This was quite possibly some of the most fun I've ever had while getting paid...
I worked for ESPN yesterday as a utility on their TV Crew down on the sidelines of the bowl game. I was with sideline reporter Todd Harris all day, so I got to meet both coaches, former USAFA coach Fisher DeBarry, shake hands with a Brig. General, and be right in the middle of all the action.
Unfortunately the Falcons lost the game, and their quarterback later in the game with a nasty knee injury, but it was still fun.
They even gave me an extra field crew pass so Zach could come over to the game. He was actually guarding the F-22's on the flightline at the base but was relieved after they took off, so he got to come down on the field as well. We both had a lot of fun, got tons of free stuff, fed 3 meals...and I got paid. I cant think of a better way to "work". hehe
