Congratulations to your dear hubby, Trina, and you too. So, is it Arizona or Virginia where you're going? Or is it still up in the air?? Talk about nail-biting time! At least you get to pet and fondle your fabrics while you wait - that always helps. As for missing people, that's why there are phones and computers, sweetie! But I know how it is, out of sight out of mind sometimes. However, good friends will always stay good friends, even when you don't see or hear from them very often. And if you're moving to Arizona, you won't be that far away from them! VACATION!!

Trina, congrats on your hubby's retirement. It will be a big adjustment for both of you. Where are you moving? Hope you don't have to have your fabric packed away too long.
Meg, I can understand why you were so scared. Anyone would be in that situation. I've got to postpone my mammogram until sometime in April because my doctor is leaving and since I can't get it done until after he leaves, there won't be anyone to follow up on it. So, have to wait until I see the new doctor on the 29th of March to get it scheduled as they won't write the order until I see them. Aarrrggghhhh, why do doctors have to move. This will be the 5th doctor we've had in the past 2 years. I'm beginning to think that I'm a jinx on doctors.
Deb, loved the pantyhose suggestion. When I lived in AZ, the men in the Sheriff's Mounted Possee wore pantyhose under their uniforms for warmth when they had to go out in the mountains on horseback on a search and rescue mission.
Howard is doing very well. The knee isn't causing any pain at all now but the toes are. Thank heavens that he's behaving fairly well. Since he is able to put weight on that leg, just no pressure on the toes, he can do just about anything he wants to in the house except get in the shower. Later today he's going to do a sponge bath and then lean over the kitchen sink so I can use the sprayer and wash his hair. I think that will work out pretty good.
As for me, I'm adjusting to sleeping on the other side of the bed so I slept better last night. I'm hoping to be able to spend some time sewing later today and tomorrow so I can get caught up. Today is beautiful outside, nice and sunny but still cold. May have more snow on Sunday night but after that it's supposed to be warm. I'm not holding my breath because the worst snows I've been in have been in March.
Trina, sweetie, you need a group ((((((hug)))) from all of us! Bless your heart. It is going to be okay and you will like retirement! I promise you will love it! Or I can let you have my Job, and I will retire if that will help ya out any??? (What are friends for right? LOL!) Keeping you still in my prayers. Keep us in touch so we don't lose an addy for ya now.
Bummer! I couldn't watch the Gold medal game today! One, hubby doesn't like hockey, two, one of the grandgirls is grounded from watching TV, three, I would have been greatly outnumbered. Glad to hear/see the boys in Red won!! I don't think they dared to lose, after our girls won.
