Hi Michelle, from reading the instructions just now it looks to me instructions for cutting the 6 7/8 red were just left out. Guess that isn't really much help to you but I understand where your confussion is coming from!!!!

Ladies, I didn't even read the instructions, just followed the cutting chart and picture to lay it all out! So I didn't miss anything.

I guess Kim will need to edit that omission, huh? Smile Oh, Ki-i-im, where art thou?? Big Grin

I hope to sew it together tonight. Maybe.

OK I just went and read it, looks like it's a typo, she wrote the wrong size - the red square to cut is the 3 7/8" one at the top of the cutting list. It's a red AND a brown 3 7/8" triangle, both, that are sewn to the larger cream triangle. Just follow the pictures, they really help.

Hope this helps! Smile

Okay ladies went back and just began to put the pieces together to make them fit in their home and it worked and like Gerda stated that just look at the pics however another confusion came in because I changed the colors to make it for Black History, but I have sewn almost everything together and now it is on my sewing room wall, so I am going to change the measurements on the paper for the next time that I decide to make another one, thanks for the help ladies.

Thought I would bring this back to the front to see if Kim had checked to see what was going on with the pattern, and see if I was reading it correctly and if so that it would be changed jsut in case someone different from here wants to make this quilt little WH.
