Hey, all, Planet Patchwork's 2008-9 BOM is starting up! http://planetpatchwork.com/BOTM/IP/default.htm
right now it's just the fabric requirements, but check it out! I like the layout of this one.

oooooo ... I like this one ... but not the black background. I like black and use it a lot, but I think I want something different here ...

I have never made their patterns before ... any words of advice from those who have before I proceed?

I have so many projects going, though, I should catch up before I proceed with anything else ...

So many quilts, so little time ... Pat

Pat, at least you can save the patterns! That's what I do! You should know by now, that your to-do list only gets longer!!! It never shortens! Big Grin

and they say in the intro, that you can use any colourway you like. I think the designer just really LIKES black for a background. I must admit, things POP on a black background, but it can be hard on older eyes to work on ('specially frogging! Big Grin)

I have done several BOM's and mystery quilts with Planet Patchwork. She is very good and I don't recall having any issues with her patterns or directions (knock on wood!! LOL) I am looking forward to starting this one too. Guess I better hit the stash for some fabric!!! Wendy

Gerda, I think that was the first thing I learned ... lol! I had a list before I had my first quilt That list does keep getting longer. I often print a pattern I really like when I see it and add it to a big binder I am keeping ... the binder keeps getting fatter.

Wendy, thanks for the info. It is always nice to hear from someone who has made patterns by a particular designer that they are good ones to follow.

I think I will go get some sewing done ... Smile Pat

Hmmm, ANOTHER thing to put on that list! I have many, many BOM patterns saved to disk - for someday Smile I like this one, too, and since it's just starting, MAYBE I'll go ahead & do it "on schedule" as the blocks are announced Smile

Thanks for pointing me to this one!

another one that I like. Thanks Gerda! This looks like it would make a great quilt for a boy or child...I have some really cute M&M fabric that came to mind with this one...It might make for a fun "candy" quilt.

Off to shop and think on this one...

Ooh - Gerda - Thanks for posting. I have done one of their patterns and have saved two others. This will be added to the list.

I think I've just found my second quilt. I love how this one is put together. This will be my first BOM, too!
